My
husband and I snuck down to the beach last week while our girls were in school. Over the years we've learned the importance of making time for our marriage.
Sometimes we'll go out to lunch. Some days it may just be running errands and picking up sushi to enjoy together at home. Some days it's a long walk on the beach.
Whatever we do, it's the time together that matters.
I love capturing life through the lens of my camera. I once heard photographer David Molnar speak at a conference and he said, "The best camera is the one that’s in your pocket." I have to say I agree, although I'd probably change the wording a bit to say "the one you have on hand." I shoot with three different cameras: a Nikon DSLR, a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX20, and my very non-fancy phone camera. The one I use totally depends on the circumstances and/or what is most convenient. All of them allow me to capture life...in focus.
